BPS track: 'Use of novel technologies to enable drug discovery and drug repurposing'
๐๏ธ Day 2 - Wednesday, 22 October 2025
๐ 11:00 - 16:45
๐ The Viewing Terrace, Exhibition Centre, Liverpool.
Drug discovery and development remains an expensive process, beset with many failures. Drug repurposing also has its challenges. It is therefore important to develop or refine novel methodologies and technologies to improve success rates in drug discovery and drug repurposing. We live in an age where this is now possible. This track will focus on technologies such as genomics, proteomics and AI, and how they are being employed for drug discovery and drug repurposing, with the talks being given by world-leading researchers from different professional backgrounds.
Programme
This three-session track will take place between 11:00 - 16:45 with two refreshment breaks in between.
