Ahead of the 20th World Congress of Basic & Clinical Pharmacology (WCP2026), the International Union of Basic & Clinical Pharmacology's Education Section (IUPHAR-Ed) will host the 7th IUPHAR-Ed Education Satellite Symposium.

The symposium will take place on Saturday & Sunday, 11 & 12 July at Monash University Parkville Campus, Melbourne, Australia. It will bring together pharmacology educators, researchers, and curriculum leaders from across the globe to share innovations, challenges, and best practices in pharmacology and therapeutics education. Sessions will include oral presentations, posters and interactive workshops, focusing on key themes such as curriculum design, assessment, inclusion, technology-enhanced learning, and core concept-based education. The satellite provides a welcoming and collaborative space to connect with global colleagues and shape the future of pharmacology education. Call for abstracts

IUPHAR-Ed has opened a call for abstract submissions for the meeting.

These can be in the form of:
 

• poster presentation
• short oral presentation (5–10 min)
• long oral presentation (20–30 min)
• interactive workshop (60-90 min)   

Please note the above times for presentations are estimates. Exact timings and the length of presentations will be set closer to the event date, once submissions have been reviewed.

Registration

Registration for the meeting will be $100 AUD. There will also be a dinner on the Saturday night, which attendees will need to expense themselves.
